About GLO

We are Houston and surrounding locations based, we love our city but love to travel to basically anywhere! GLO started late December 2014. It was just a small idea to take our hobby of photography further + we can honestly say we love what we do! GLO is a play on both of our nicknames, G for Gerardo and Lo for Loryn. So G-Lo, GLO (glow), G to the LO or however you want to say it, that's us! We are a TEAM, however Loryn handles the smaller sessions and she's the one you'll most likely be talking with. While Gerardo invested months of hard work and money into growing the business and works more on the bigger events and technical side. It's called balance. HA!

Loryn is a graduate from the University of Houston, and Gerardo works in the Cath Lab at Memorial Hermann. Between our busy schedule with photography and life itself, we love to go out to eat, eat and... eat. We are self proclaimed cocktail and chicken wing connoisseurs. If wings are on the menu, it'll end up on our tab. We have a 7 year old puppy, yes puppy, named Zeus. He is the light of our life and it's true what they say, dogs are basically your furry children. We are now considered newlyweds as we got married in November 2021, it has been an amazing ride so far.

Photography has been a creative outlet for us both, and even when we aren't working and just at social gatherings we can guarantee you, that you can almost always see us with our camera. It's a love hate thing with our friends! We want to capture each and every moment, because it's true - photos last foreverrrrrr. We want to be part of all the milestones, not just one. We don't want you to just be a customer, but we want to build a relationship with you!

So therefore, let us capture your special moments and turn them into forever memories that will last a lifetime.
